Rates
for the public service of mixed municipal waste
collection and disposal
- The price of the public service of collection and disposal of mixed municipal waste is HRK 0.09622/litre, not including VAT (HRK 0.10873/litre including VAT).
- The total charge for the public service of collection and disposal of mixed municipal waste is calculated as the multiple of the assigned mixed municipal waste container, the number of collections in one month, and the charge for the collection of 1 litre of mixed municipal waste.
- The public service provider will enter into individual agreements for the provision of the public service with customers from Groups 1 and 2.1 under Article 10 of the Decision on the Public Services of Collection of Mixed Municipal Waste, Biodegradable Municipal Waste, Separate Collection of Waste Paper, Metal, Glass, Plastic, and Textile, and Bulky Municipal Waste in the City of Zagreb.
- Until the agreements from Paragraph 3 of the Rates are concluded, the former billing method will apply (Rates for the Collection and Disposal of Municipal Waste from 31 July 2009).
- These Rates will apply pursuant to obtaining prior consent of the executive body of the local self-government unit as per the Sustainable Waste Management Act.

granting preliminary consent to the Company
Zagreb City Holding Ltd to reduce the charges for municipal services
- The Mayor of the City of Zagreb has considered the request of the Company Zagreb City Holding Ltd for a preliminary consent to reduce the charges for the following municipal services:
- Collection, removal and landfilling of municipal waste by an average of 0.81% per m2,
- Disposal of municipal waste by an average of 0.99% per m2,
- Water supply and wastewater sewerage by an average of 1.52% per m3,
- Burial and cemetery maintenance by an average of 0.81%,
- Retail markets by an average of 0.81%.
- It was concluded that the charges for municipal services from Paragraph 1 of this Conclusion should be reduced because the value-added tax rate was raised from 22% to 23% under Article 1 of the Act on the Amendments to the Value Added Tax Act in order to keep the rates for the customers at the same level.
- Pursuant to Paragraph 2 of this Conclusion, the Mayor granted the preliminary consent to the Company Zagreb City Holding Ltd to reduce the charges for municipal services set forth in Paragraph 1 of this Conclusion as of 1 August 2009.
- The conclusion will be published in the Official Journal of the City of Zagreb.
